The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Airborne Systems for parachute canopy and reserve systems. The specific items include 15 parachute canopies (DC-7, Red/White/Blue, Part 811406-0), 10 deployment systems (MT1S, BLM, CG, Part 886452-0), 10 reserve canopies (MT1S, Red/Wht, Part 811306-0), and 10 line sets (Steering, DC-7, Part 811439-0). The estimated value of this acquisition is $134,590. This is a notice to fulfill public posting requirements, not a request for competitive quotes. Firms believing they can furnish the requested items at a cost not exceeding the total estimated transaction cost must provide written notification by 5 PM Eastern on June 30th, 2026.
