Description
The City of Nicholasville Electric Department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform horizontal directional boring and drilling services. The project involves approximately four runs of 3-inch continuous line, approximately 230 pole line feet and 950 total feet, across Main Street heading east down Lake Street in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Design-area and trench-plan information is included in the solicitation package. The contractor must have at least three years of horizontal directional boring and drilling experience and provide at least three references, along with a summary of relevant experience and qualifications. The contractor must provide a crew supervisor, schedule work as directed by the Electric Department, maintain required insurance, hold a current City of Nicholasville occupational/business license, and perform the work without subcontracting or transferring the contract.
