Description
The City of Hayward is soliciting proposals to replace six Fleet Division garage vehicle lifts and potentially replace a seventh outdoor six-station lift, subject to available budget. The scope includes disassembling and removing existing lifts, coordinating disposal with City staff, proposing compliant replacement equipment, and installing the new lifts with appropriate foundations and systems. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and products and keep the garage clean and hazard-free while City employees continue working. The desired equipment includes three heavy-duty in-ground lifts rated at 70,000 pounds and three light-duty electric-over-hydraulic lifts, with specifications varying by location. Proposals must include a cover letter, team qualifications, relevant experience and references, proposed scope, schedule of charges, a not-to-exceed budget, vendor relationship disclosures, and any objections to the City's standard Professional Services Agreement. The successful bidder must hold an appropriate California Contractors State License Board license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations.
