Description
Greene County, Mississippi, is soliciting sealed bids for construction and maintenance other than bridge work on approximately 59.933 miles of roads under State Aid Program Project No. SAP-21(15)M. The scope includes mobilization, pavement removal and milling, asphalt placement and leveling, crushed stone, excavation, concrete and pipe drainage structures, geogrid, traffic maintenance, pavement striping and legends, raised pavement markers, traffic signs and markers, and erosion-control measures such as seeding, mulch, silt fence, wattles, fertilizer, and riprap. The solicitation includes seven additive options with additional roadway, paving, striping, signage, traffic-control, and related work. The contract time is 75 working days, and award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities. A certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Bids must use the provided bid forms and may be submitted in person or electronically through the specified plan-room project page; email, telephone, and telegraphic proposals are not accepted.
