Description
The City of Hattiesburg is soliciting sealed bids for construction of Gordon's Creek Linear Park. The work includes construction of sidewalks, pedestrian bridges, and landscaping elements, along with all labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and drawings. The base bid is estimated at approximately $2 million, with additive alternates estimated at approximately $1 million combined. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi law and provide a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, and electronic submissions must satisfy the same sealed-bid requirements.
