Washington Parish Government, through its Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, is soliciting sealed bids for the complete design-build purchase and installation of permanent diesel generators and three-phase automatic transfer switches at six locations. The projects require generators ranging from 60 kW to 200 kW and transfer switches ranging from 230 amps to 800 amps. Bidders may submit proposals for one or all six projects, and prices must include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, drawings, and schematic wiring diagrams. The work includes installations at five school facilities and a sewer treatment plant. The sewer treatment plant project is in a designated special flood hazard area and requires the design to demonstrate elevation heights and elevation or floodproofing above the applicable flood hazard level. Equipment must carry at least a two-year warranty. Bidders must hold the required Louisiana electrician classification license, provide the required insurance before award, and include 5% bid security. The standardized Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form must be used.
