Description
Stone County, Mississippi, is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a 3.811-mile overlay on Magnolia Road under State Aid Program Project No. SAP-66(13)M. The award, if made, will go to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities, and the work must comply with the latest Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid, payable to Stone County and the State of Mississippi. Plans and proposals are available for purchase from the Stone County County Engineer for $50 each, with both fees nonrefundable. The solicitation states that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to bid without discrimination.
