Description
Stone County, Mississippi, is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a 3.811-mile overlay on Magnolia Road under State Aid Program Project No. SAP-66(13)M. The award, if made, will go to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities, and construction must comply with the latest Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Plans and specifications are available through the identified county and state offices. Plans and proposals may be purchased from the Stone County County Engineer for $50 each, with the costs non-refundable. Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid, payable to Stone County and the State of Mississippi. The solicitation also states that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to bid without discrimination.
