Description
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska is soliciting bids for the annual supply of caustic soda beads for its Wastewater Division. The specifications require the caustic soda beads to be white and beaded in appearance, with specific gravity, boiling range, and vapor pressure details provided. Material Safety Data Sheets must accompany proposals. Packaging options include 55# or 50# polybags, with 42 or 60 bags per pallet, respectively. The City will not accept delivery of damaged containers. Deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination to either the Theresa Street Plant or the Northeast Treatment Plant, as directed on each order. Delivery is required within a minimum of five (5) business days after receipt of order. The contract is for a one (1) year term beginning August 4, 2026, with the option for three (3) additional one (1) year terms.
