Description
The State of Connecticut is procuring and installing a replacement motorized operable partition wall for the Department of Correction's Manson Youth Institution. The required system is one Modernfold Acousti-Seal 933E continuously hinged electric legacy operable wall, 64 feet wide by 16 feet 6 inches high, with 18 panels per wall, STC 50 acoustical performance, steel facings with standard vinyl finish, paired stacking, bracket-mounted suspension, two 208-volt, three-phase, one-horsepower motors, and two matching pass doors with handpull latches. The scope includes delivery, complete installation, electrical verification and modifications, final connections, grounding and bonding, testing, labeling, warranty support, replacement parts, and emergency repair services. The contractor must be the manufacturer or a manufacturer-authorized distributor, maintain authorization throughout the contract term, provide security-cleared personnel for facility access, and perform installation during the specified weekday service window. The contract term is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029, with a possible extension of up to an additional three years.
