The Binghamton-Johnson City Sewage Board is requesting qualifications and proposals for professional technical services to analyze wastewater and wastewater residuals from various locations within the B-JC Joint Sewage Treatment Plant service area. The scope of services includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and biennial sampling and analysis of influent, effluent, digester contents, and other wastewater-related materials. The contract will commence on August 1, 2026, and conclude on July 31, 2028, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals. The selected proposer will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, sample containers, preservation, chain-of-custody documentation, transportation, and laboratory analytical services. Laboratories must maintain current NYSDOH-ELAP and/or NELAP accreditation. The Board requires a minimum of $2,000,000.00 in general liability insurance and $2,000,000.00 in professional liability insurance.
