Description
The Montana VA Health Care System (MTVAHCS) requires a qualified contractor to provide laboratory water testing services, including analysis, reporting, and verification of water safety. These services are essential for ensuring compliance with VA environmental requirements and maintaining the safety of Veterans, staff, and visitors at the Fort Harrison and Billings, MT locations. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, sample bottles, shipping containers, labels, transportation, certifications, and insurance necessary to perform these services. The anticipated contract is a 60-month (5-year) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a base year and four subsequent 1-year ordering periods. Specific service dates and quantities will be identified on funded Task Orders. The contractor must possess demonstrated experience with similar water systems, hold a certification as a Drinking Water Laboratory in Montana issued by the MT DPHHS Laboratory Certification Program, and maintain all required federal and state potable water testing certifications. Additionally, the contractor must have the logistical capability to receive and process samples within 24 hours of collection and possess reliable transportation to account for remote locations and potential delays.
