Description
Kern High School District is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid to replace the varsity baseball and softball scoreboards at Frontier High School. The district will provide the new Daktronics scoreboards; the contractor must demolish and remove the existing scoreboards, support columns, and below-grade footings, then furnish and install new concrete foundations, steel support columns, underground conduits, concrete paving, electrical conductors, pull boxes, grounding systems, power connections, and control connections. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, coordination, terminations, testing, and commissioning support required for complete operational systems, including coordination with the scoreboard manufacturer for startup and final acceptance. The estimated bid value is $240,000, the stated start date is November 9, 2026, and the work must be completed within 39 calendar days.
