Description
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Fish and Wildlife, is conducting a Request for Information regarding commercially available Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for an environmental contaminant monitoring laboratory. The requested solution should support sample login and chain-of-custody tracking, aliquot and preparation tracking, instrument-result imports, manual result entry, inventory and consumables management, standard operating procedures and quality-control management, reporting, legacy-data migration, archival access, configurable workflows, scalability, and compliance with New York State policies and information-security standards. Respondents should provide information on product capabilities, hybrid on-site and cloud storage, implementation, network and equipment requirements, disaster recovery, remote management, maintenance and technical support, training, warranties, equipment replacement, comparable customers, implementation plans, partners, and procurement through New York State or federal contract vehicles. This is an information-gathering exercise only and will not directly result in a contract award.
