Description
Carver Construction Inc. is bidding as the prime contractor for the Hackett Boulevard Stormwater Improvements Project and is seeking quotes from qualified subcontractors and suppliers. The project is categorized as highway and roadway construction, maintenance, repair, and new construction. The prime contractor is encouraging certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) firms, as well as other interested subcontractors and suppliers, to participate. The stated contracting goals are 15% MBE, 15% WBE, and 20% DBE. Subcontractors must register and maintain registration with the New York State Department of Labor Bureau of Public Works Contractor Registry before bidding on the public work project or commencing covered work.
