Description
The United States Air National Guard is soliciting one Waterous brand CP-5 replacement pump, part reference CP-5, for a P-23 aircraft rescue and firefighting truck, serial number 154766. This is a brand-name-only requirement because the existing vehicle is engineered around the Waterous pump's physical footprint, mounting brackets, plumbing, split-shaft transmission, and power take-off driveline; alternate manufacturers are not acceptable. The requirement is for a firm-fixed-price commercial product, and the contractor must provide applicable DoD unique item identification or an accepted equivalent. The pump must be delivered by October 31, 2026. Inspection and acceptance will occur upon delivery and before final payment. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and states that funds are not presently available, although funding is anticipated no later than September 30, 2026.
