Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to perform a complete fire suppression system survey at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center’s Wade Park campus. The work covers the Main Tower, Ambulatory Care, and CARES Tower, beginning at the fire/jockey pump and documenting risers, valves, check valves, flow switches, tamper switches, applicable devices, fitting types, and branch-line connections. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision. Deliverables include a project schedule, pre-survey plan, daily progress logs, a survey report, and a complete certified as-built one-line drawing package with device locations and schedules. Personnel must be qualified and demonstrate fire suppression system competency through certifications or equivalent credentials. The solicitation is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, requires three relevant sprinkler-system survey projects as past performance, and includes a six-month period of performance with a 14-calendar-day VA review period followed by seven calendar days for final drawing revisions.
