Description
The New Haven Parking Authority is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a dog park at the Crown Street Parking Garage under NHPA Project #20-057. The work includes protecting existing features, locating underground utilities, soil erosion and sediment control, contaminated soil excavation, transportation and disposal, site preparation, backfill placement and compaction, aggregate surfacing, bituminous concrete sidewalks, chain-link fencing and gates, miscellaneous coordination, and incidental work required by the bid documents. Bidders must submit the provided bid forms, including a list of intended subcontractors. The subcontracting requirements include at least 30% participation by DAS-certified Small Business Enterprises, at least 25% participation by DAS-certified Minority-, Women-, and/or Disabled-owned Business Enterprises within that SBE requirement, and at least 10% participation by businesses located within New Haven. A satisfactory bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid is required.
