Description
The City of Oak Ridge is seeking one or more qualified, Tennessee-licensed real estate firms to provide as-needed professional services for the marketing and sale of City-owned commercial and other real property. The scope includes market analyses and sales strategies, commercial rental-rate recommendations, property listing and marketing through the MLS and other channels, buyer engagement, offer and sales-agreement negotiation subject to City approval, earnest-money escrow, appraisal and due-diligence coordination, transaction closings, and presentations at public meetings when requested. Proposals will be evaluated on experience and qualifications, local commercial real estate experience, capabilities and marketing resources, assigned personnel, conflicts of interest, fee information, and the quality and understanding demonstrated in the response. Respondents must be licensed and in good standing in Tennessee and submit five bound copies addressing the specified sections, including firm information, conflicts, experience, qualifications, capabilities, understanding of needs, resumes, and commission and other cost information. The initial contract term is two years, with up to two additional two-year extensions by mutual agreement.
