Description
The City of Redondo Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified real estate brokerage firms or teams to provide marketing, leasing, and lease transaction management services for its waterfront commercial portfolio. The portfolio includes approximately 61 leaseholds across restaurant, retail, office, and marine-related uses, including Pier Plaza, International Boardwalk, and Fisherman's Wharf, with additional properties potentially added during the agreement. Several spaces are vacant, underutilized, month-to-month, or approaching lease expiration and will require active marketing and lease transition support. The selected firm will develop and implement marketing strategies; prepare listings and promotional materials; conduct broker outreach, market analyses, vacancy reporting, and market intelligence activities; coordinate property tours; negotiate letters of intent and lease terms; support due diligence and lease execution; and provide financial, revenue, and commission reporting. The firm must coordinate with the City's property management firm, marina operations firm, outside real estate counsel, and the City's Waterfront and Economic Development Department. The initial agreement is for three years, with an option to extend, and proposers may submit a coordinated proposal with related waterfront property management or marina operations solicitations.
