Description
The Lucas County Land Bank is soliciting bids for the complete demolition of residential structures at 1111 Klondike Street and 505 Darrow Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. Bidders must submit one bid covering all buildings. The work includes demolition of the structures and ancillary improvements; removal and disposal of building, foundation, concrete, pavement, fencing, trees, vegetation, and curb aprons; utility coordination; permitting; street-closure coordination; and landfill disposal documentation when requested. The contractor must restore each site with clean compacted fill, bring it to final grade, apply topsoil, hydro-seed with tall fescue and clover, and maintain clean, safe sites during and after demolition. The work must be performed as a wet demolition, with the contractor supplying the required water. The successful bidder must enter into a project labor agreement with the Northwestern Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council and comply with Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bids must include itemized pricing, a work timeline, at least two similar projects completed within the past five years, a site-familiarity statement, and any required good-standing explanation. Work must be completed by November 30, 2026.
