Description
The Nevada State Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Department of Public Safety, is establishing a qualified pool of licensed mental health professionals to provide confidential, trauma-informed, and culturally competent behavioral health services to approximately 700 department personnel and eligible retirees. Services include annual behavioral wellness visits, retirement counseling, individual counseling, and critical-incident support following events such as officer-involved shootings, line-of-duty deaths, suicides, serious injuries, and mass-casualty incidents. Providers must maintain applicable Nevada licensure or authorization, professional liability insurance, relevant trauma and crisis experience, public-safety cultural competency, confidentiality safeguards, and the ability to serve identified geographic areas through in-person services and/or secure telehealth. The State may award multiple contracts, with an initial three-year term and two optional one-year extensions. Responses must address the technical requirements and include the required certification, reference questionnaire, cost schedule, and Vendor Information Response Form.
