The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors licensed to work in Nevada for hazardous materials abatement and demolition of the General Aviation Operations Building at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The scope includes AOA fencing relocation, utility work, building demolition, site grading, and all required materials, labor, equipment, transportation, permits, fees, utilities, and incidental work. The solicitation package includes special conditions, bid item clarifications and technical specifications, plans, an asbestos report, and original building plans. The engineer’s estimate is $900,000 to $1,100,000, funded through the Authority’s general fund rather than federal grants. Bidders must submit one original hard copy and one electronic copy on a flash drive, sealed and marked according to the ITB instructions. Bids may be mailed or hand delivered to the Contracts & Procurement Department; electronic, emailed, faxed, telephonic, and NGEM-submitted bids are invalid. Acknowledgment of any issued addenda must be signed in blue or black ink and included with the bid.
