Description
SMART is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal services to remove and replace the fabric panel on an existing overhead door at the Macomb Terminal. The work includes supplying and installing one new fabric door panel with two window panels; securing the panel and wind-bar straps; disconnecting and reconnecting counterweights; removing existing hardware and debris; adjusting the system; and performing multiple test cycles to verify safe, reliable operation. The contractor must have demonstrated experience repairing and installing commercial or industrial overhead fabric doors and employ qualified technicians. Deliverables include photographic documentation of existing strap routing, complete installation and adjustment, functional testing, and cleanup. A minimum one-year workmanship warranty and applicable manufacturer warranties are required. The contract is identified as a one-time requirement.
