Description
The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency is soliciting sealed bids for the Coles Street Park Demolition Project. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish and remove all site elements within the park and perform associated work described in the contract documents and drawings. The project must be completed within 180 days after the contractor receives written notice to proceed. Bids must include the required bid forms and documents, one hard-copy original, one hard-copy copy, and one CD-ROM or USB drive containing a PDF version; drawings do not need to be reproduced in the bid package. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference/site tour is required to submit a bid. A bid security of 10% of the bid amount or $20,000, whichever is less, is required, along with a surety's consent. The successful contractor must furnish performance, labor and material, and maintenance bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and comply with applicable New Jersey affirmative-action, public-works contractor registration, and prevailing-wage requirements.
