Description
Sheridan County is requesting proposals from qualified firms to conduct a transportation alternatives study and develop a plan for the unincorporated Big Horn community, located approximately eight miles south of Sheridan, Wyoming. The work includes gathering and evaluating existing data; facilitating public involvement; identifying transportation goals; developing conceptual projects; identifying probable environmental permitting requirements and right-of-way constraints; and preparing a prioritized project list with preliminary construction cost estimates. Proposals must describe the firm's team, understanding of the project goals, key personnel and roles, relevant experience with transportation alternative studies or projects, proposed tasks and milestones, public engagement strategy, and preliminary schedule. The proposal and three copies must be delivered or mailed to the Public Works Office by the deadline. Questions must be submitted by the stated questions deadline.
