Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote from a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, fabrication, and installation for 224 dual-layer and 2 single-layer manually operated roller shades in Building 86 at Sheridan VA Health Care Center. The work includes verifying field measurements, removing and disposing of temporary coverings, delivering and installing inside-mounted shades, coordinating work in occupied healthcare areas, and providing repair and replacement support. The proposed shades must meet detailed healthcare, accessibility, safety, cleanability, infection-control, fire-resistance, durability, and regulatory requirements. The basis of design specifies Draper clutch-operated dual roller FlexShades using Sheerweave SW2000 primary fabric and Sheerweave SW7500 blackout liner fabric, with stainless-steel bead-chain controls, specified hardware finishes, and accessible control lengths. Quotes must include capability information, pricing, and up to three recent and relevant past-performance efforts, along with the Buy American Certificate and supplies/products limitations-on-subcontracting certification. Installation is expected to commence within 90 days of contract issuance and be completed within 90 additional days.
