Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive informal written quotes from qualified service providers to supply, rent, refill, and deliver medical oxygen, carbon dioxide, cylinders, and related equipment for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. The scope includes cylinder rental, scheduled swaps and deliveries to multiple fire-service locations, emergency same-day or 24-hour delivery, account management, proof of delivery, testing documentation, and online account access. The supplier must maintain an FDA-registered facility and comply with current good manufacturing practices, Compressed Gas Association standards, United States Pharmacopeia specifications, National Fire Protection Association requirements, and applicable Department of Transportation regulations. A fill location within 100 miles of the Gwinnett County Fire Department Central Warehouse and 24/7 emergency contact coverage are also required. The quote schedule covers oxygen D, M, and M6 cylinders and 20-pound carbon dioxide cylinders, including rental and product-fill pricing. The initial contract term begins January 1, 2027, with four additional 12-month renewal options. The solicitation requires the Fee Schedule, References form, and Contractor Affidavit and Agreement to be returned with the quote. Successful providers must satisfy the stated commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, and umbrella or excess liability insurance requirements.
