Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting compressed gas cylinders classified under NAICS 332420. The supplies must comply with applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data, drawings, technical data, standards, military specifications, and commercial item descriptions, including specified revisions. Requirements include government-acceptable inspection systems, inspection and test reporting, quality assurance, FOB-destination delivery, and applicable MIL-STD 2073 packaging and cleanliness-control packaging provisions. The solicitation requires review of a material Individual Repair Part Ordering Data package. Vendors must identify proposed deviations or alternate items before manufacture and provide supporting technical data and justification. Applicable vendor-certified test and inspection reports and pre-manufacturing procedure, drawing, and other technical submittals are to be provided according to the contract delivery schedule and the IRPOD. Referenced technical documents require password-protected pre-registration, and certain documents are restricted from foreign nationals.
