Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service requires assorted compressed and liquefied laboratory gases, including K Air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, and SPAN gas. The contractor must provide safe, sound, and properly maintained 50-liter cylinders and 55-gallon cylinders, exchange full cylinders for empties, reclaim used cylinders, and transport the gases and cylinders between its facility and the Government facility. Typical demand is at least one delivery per week, increasing to as many as three deliveries per week during busy periods. Estimated annual quantities are provided for five one-year ordering periods but are not guaranteed. The resulting firm-fixed-price requirements contract is expected to run for five one-year ordering periods. Quotations must include pricing for all line items and demonstrate technical compliance through descriptive product literature or equivalent documentation, manufacturer certification of product origin, an active SAM registration, and the completed SF1449 quote submission forms. Award will use a lowest-price, technically acceptable evaluation with past performance considered.
