Description
Los Angeles County Department of Public Works is soliciting contractors for pavement preservation and resurfacing work in South Los Angeles County. The project includes roadway resurfacing and related construction activities, with applicable public works standards, stormwater pollution prevention requirements, erosion and sediment controls, and material and waste management requirements. The solicitation package includes Instructions to Bidders, a Notice Inviting Bids, Special Provisions, a sample agreement, a Bid Proposal, and a Submission of Equals form. The first, second, and third apparent low bidders may submit proposed equals within two working days after bid opening and substantiating data and test results within ten working days after bid opening. A bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid price is required, with principal and surety signatures witnessed by a notary.
