Description
Orange County OC Public Works is soliciting bids for a usage-based contract providing temporary heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment and related services at County facilities on a planned and on-call basis. The scope includes air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, plate heat exchangers, air handlers, package units, spot coolers, boilers, pumps, transformers, and generators, along with delivery, setup, teardown, removal, testing, maintenance, monitoring, water treatment, ancillary connections, and emergency response. The contractor must provide 24/7 telephone response capable of dispatching personnel within one hour, maintain qualified staff including a journeyman electrician, hold a California C-10 electrical contractor license, perform work in accordance with applicable codes and prevailing-wage requirements, and support secured facilities requiring background clearances. The contract amount is not to exceed $600,000, with an initial three-calendar-year term beginning December 14, 2026. Bids are evaluated on the lowest responsive, responsible bid and must be submitted electronically through the County's online bidding system.
