Description
The Office of Justice Programs, within the U.S. Department of Justice, is offering formula funding through cooperative agreements to state governments. The program supports the creation or enhancement of state crisis intervention court proceedings and related initiatives authorized by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act of 2022. Eligible activities include extreme risk protection order programs, mental health courts, drug courts, veterans treatment courts, and other related crisis intervention programs. The award ceiling is $16,015,504, with no cost-sharing or matching requirement stated.
