Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information from qualified sources able to provide recurring, as-needed delivery of medical-grade cylinder gases for hospital and research operations. Required gases include oxygen, medical air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, helium, liquid nitrogen, and certified specialty mixtures, including research calibration mixtures. The contractor may need to furnish contractor-owned cylinders, fill government-owned cylinders, or provide both, with estimated weekly deliveries and emergent delivery capability. The scope includes cylinder inspection, testing, cleaning, tagging, valve and manifold services, compliant packaging and transportation, safety data sheets, purity and calibration documentation, separate customer accounts and invoicing, and compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, NFPA, CGA, Arizona, and local requirements. This is a Sources Sought/RFI for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation or request for binding offers. Responses must include a capabilities statement addressing the listed requirements, business size and socioeconomic status, manufacturer or distributor status, applicable licensing and regulatory capabilities, COTS status, lead time, support, contract vehicles, pricing information, and related market-research questions.
