Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capable businesses for a sources-sought requirement covering furniture storage, moving, disassembly, assembly, installation, delivery, cleaning, minor repairs, and electronic inventory management. The contractor must furnish labor, tools, equipment, trucks, supervision, and a trained installation team experienced with multi-manufacturer systems and freestanding furniture, including Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, Haworth, and Allsteel products. Required capabilities include maintaining a web-based inventory system, updating inventory weekly, performing annual recounts, and providing transferable digital and printed inventory records at contract end. The contractor must operate a warehouse within 50 miles of the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, with approximately 5,500 to 8,000 square feet of storage capacity and weekday receiving capability. Services will support the main medical center and multiple outpatient clinics. This is market research only and not a solicitation or request for proposals; respondents are asked to provide company information, socioeconomic status, identifiers, contact information, and a capability statement. The anticipated requirement is a single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a base period and four option years.
