Description
The City of Newport is soliciting sealed bids for annual supplies used in municipal operations. Requested items include Class 3 channel liner, limestone, bank-run material, cold patch, hot-mix asphalt, sand, rock salt, ice-melt product, hardwood mulch, playground safety surfacing, shredded topsoil, topsoil, concrete, calcium, hot water/winter mix, and flowable fill. Vendors must provide unit pricing for delivered and, where applicable, city-pickup quantities; delivery costs must be included in quoted prices. The solicitation includes estimated quantities but no guaranteed minimum purchases. Rock salt vendors must state the number of days required for delivery after an order. Bids must include a signed price sheet, and the selected vendor must provide a 100% performance bond.
