Description
The Department of the Air Force is soliciting repair services for a 2006 International R-11 refueler, registration number 06L00650. The contractor must provide all parts, accessories, labor, inspection, diagnosis, repairs, operational checks, and quality control necessary to return the vehicle to its original operational condition. Required work includes removing and replacing the cambox and cambox door, preparing and painting the repair, and disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The contractor must transport the vehicle from and back to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and complete the repair within 60 days after receipt of the vehicle. The procurement is described as a firm-fixed-price, full-and-open-competition requirement, although the accompanying notice states an intent to award sole source and identifies Bob's Services Inc. as the intended awardee. Quotes are evaluated using lowest-price technically acceptable procedures. The response must include a technical submission demonstrating compliance with the Performance Work Statement and a completed pricing schedule; vendors that will not perform the work directly must identify proposed subcontractors and their roles.
