Description
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting bids for on-call repair and maintenance of 8-, 30-, 40-, and 120-cubic-yard landfill containers. Work may include sandblasting, grinding, welding, sheet-metal repairs, special modifications such as reshaping doors or installing screens and latches, priming, and painting with Sherwin-Williams NC11243 Forest Green. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, welding supplies, and other expendable materials. Containers will be delivered to and retrieved from the contractor's place of business, generally up to two at a time, with repairs completed within 10 business days unless additional time is approved. The bid schedule requests unit pricing for sandblasting, grinding, welding, priming and painting, and 10-, 12-, and 16-gauge sheet metal. The initial agreement is expected to run through June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement and subject to annual appropriations. Bids must include the completed Bid Form and required submission documents through the designated procurement portal.
