Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting nine custom-engineered On-Board Spare (OBS) storage kits for E-3 Sentry aircraft. The requirement is a 100% total small-business set-aside for Pelican Products or an approved equal, with award based on lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror under a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Each kit must meet strict aircraft-interface and performance requirements, including maximum exterior dimensions of 27.5 by 19.5 by 28 inches, minimum interior dimensions of 25.5 by 17.5 by 26 inches, high-impact heavy-duty polypropylene construction, a minimum 1.5-inch wall thickness, a fully removable lift-off lid with all-catch latches, black corrosion-resistant hardware, molded polymer handles, an airtight and watertight elastomeric gasket seal with automatic pressure equalization, and an integrated 1-inch high-density protective foam liner. The contractor must furnish and deliver all nine kits within 120 calendar days after contract award.
