Description
DASNY is soliciting expressions of interest from construction contractors for replacement of 11 air handling units and associated controls in Buildings 1 and 2. The estimated project cost is $5 million to $5.5 million. This is a qualification stage; firms selected for a shortlist will be invited to submit bids, and the construction contract will be held by DASNY. The project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement, including assent requirements for subcontractors at every tier. The EOI package must include ten ordered tabs covering company profile, comparable project experience, sample schedules, safety program, proposed team resumes, potential subcontractors, anticipated workload, experience modification rating, bonding capacity, and the New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire. The first seven tabs will be scored. The solicitation states anticipated workforce and participation goals, but the owner will determine final goals when bid documents are issued to shortlisted firms.
