Description
The City of Safford is soliciting sealed bids from properly licensed contractors for a new fire training facility. The scope includes removing approximately 450 square yards of existing asphalt pavement; preparing the site; constructing the building foundation; erecting the building structure; and completing associated electrical, insulation, and utility work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, drawings, specifications, and approved construction documents. The project is expected to begin in January 2027 and reach substantial completion within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must include a bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid amount, including alternates.
