Description
Renewable Water Resources is soliciting services to prepare and rehabilitate concrete in final clarifier launder troughs. The contractor must abrasively blast the launders to remove previous coatings, vacuum spent abrasives, pressure wash mildew, algae, and residue, patch pits and exposed aggregate with mortar, and furnish and apply the specified resurfacing and protective coating materials. Proposals must include separate pricing for preparing and resurfacing two clarifiers and for resurfacing all four clarifiers. The work must be completed by December 31, 2026, while maintaining operation of at least two of the four clarifiers; access will be limited to two clarifiers at a time. No teaming or partnering is permitted. The proposal must address vendor information, financial condition, firm history, relevant experience, references, approach, schedule, site knowledge, and previous work with Renewable Water Resources. The solicitation identifies AW Cook Surfacer, Sherwin-Williams Duraplate 6000, and Sher-Loxane 800 as specified materials. A mandatory in-person pre-proposal meeting and site walk-around are required, and proposals must be submitted electronically through the ReWa PlanetBids Bid/Proposal Management Portal.
