Description
Victoria Independent School District is soliciting proposals for concrete services, including labor and materials for sidewalks, foundations, ramps, grade beams, beams, and related concrete work. Concrete must be 3,000 PSI, with specified rebar and reinforcement requirements. The contractor must remove grass, roots, foreign materials, trash, excess concrete, and excess dirt; backfill around completed concrete; coordinate with the District’s Maintenance Department; and notify the department before digging. The contractor must provide its own tools, equipment, vehicles, and transportation, begin work within 24 hours after notification, and provide a labor-and-material estimate within 48 hours for each job. Pricing is based on an hourly rate for one journeyman and one apprentice. Prevailing wage requirements apply, including a minimum apprentice rate of 60% of the journeyman rate and a limit of one apprentice supervised by each journeyman. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with two possible 12-month extensions. Required response materials include the completed proposal and deviation forms, conflict-of-interest questionnaire, federal contracts addendum, Form 1295, proof of insurance, and Form W-9.
