Description
Columbia County seeks a contractor to migrate its existing IDN-Premisys access control system to the Genetec Security Center/Synergis platform across 140 panels. Work includes installing Synergis Cloud Link appliances, retaining and reconfiguring compatible Mercury controllers and existing field infrastructure where feasible, migrating cardholder and access-control data, configuring access logic, and integrating with the County’s Microsoft Active Directory and/or Entra ID environment. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, testing, and commissioning, including acceptance testing of all migrated doors and a concurrent-system fallback plan during rollout. Bidders must be Genetec Certified Authorized Dealers and have Genetec-certified technicians, with good standing for at least 15 years. The work requires on-site coordination, background checks for personnel accessing the facility, and a mandatory pre-bid site visit. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; performance and payment bonds are also addressed in the contract documents. The County will award to the lowest responsible bidder.
