Description
The City seeks bids for Phenix TC-1 composite and Phenix TL-2 leather fire helmets; substitutions are not accepted. Specifications include helmet shells, impact caps, comfort pads, chinstraps, finials, reflective markings, and other model-specific components. Standard colors are specified for each model. The solicitation also requests pricing for helmet shields and optional upgrades, including extra-large suspension, a deluxe leather comfort package, custom name stamping, brass finials, and helmet brim styles. The City estimates an annual order of 20 to 50 helmets for 2027, excluding optional upgrades. Quantities of composite and leather helmets will be determined annually. Bidders must submit pricing for the listed base and optional items, along with the required forms and three references. The City will award based on the base bid.
