Description
This is a sources-sought notice only; bids and proposals are not currently requested. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is assessing qualified contractors for a future job order contract supporting construction, alteration, and repair of scientific, industrial, office, civil, and utility projects on the SLAC campus, including minimal design, project management, planning, estimating, labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and related task-order support. The draft requirement describes a one-year base period with up to four one-year option periods and a cumulative not-to-exceed amount of $10,000,000 across all subcontracts for the base and each option period. The anticipated contract uses a prepriced Construction Task Catalog and standard, nonstandard, and non-prepriced coefficients. Minimum qualifications include valid California licenses, an established local presence within 100 miles of SLAC for at least three years, federally funded construction experience, and relevant Department of Energy or Department of Defense facility experience. Interested firms should submit only a capability response identifying the firm and an authorized point of contact; pricing, proprietary information, and confidential information should not be submitted.
