Description
The City of Abilene is soliciting 95-gallon fully automated carts under Bid #CB-2713. Carts must meet current ANSI Z245.30 and Z245.60 standards; have a minimum 95-gallon capacity, rotationally or injection-molded MDPE or HDPE construction, a 330-pound capacity, specified wall thickness, molded-on wear strips, hinged and convex lids, steel axles, 10-inch wheels, wind stability, recyclability, and dark-green ultraviolet-stabilized coloring. Each cart must include specified molded-in markings and hot-stamped white lettering identifying City of Abilene ownership and usage instructions, sequential serial numbers traceable to the manufacturing date, and a minimum 10-year non-prorated warranty. Bidders must submit specification sheets, three municipal references for like containers in service for at least three years, the number of carts per truckload, and the completed bidder information fields. Orders are to be placed as needed, delivered in truckload quantities, and shipped FOB Abilene, Texas. The posted package also includes a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Form 1295 information; Form 1295 applies when the City awards a contract requiring governing-body action or valued at least $1 million and is submitted with the signed contract, so it is not a proposal-time submission item.
