Santé Québec – Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal Universitaire is seeking a five-year firm contract for Neptune all-in-one biological fluid management systems to be placed on consignment in Verdun Hospital’s operating room. The solution must collect and evacuate biological fluids during surgery through mobile suction equipment and docking stations, while reducing manual handling, exposure risks, and conventional biological-waste disposal. The requested systems must be new, Health Canada-licensed and approved as applicable, compliant with relevant CAN/CSA 60601-1 standards, and manufactured under ISO 13485. Required features include automatic hands-free drainage, closed-circuit operation, disposable anti-drip and anti-return valves, constant suction, multiple suction ports, interchangeable accessories and supplies, alarms and visual indicators, overflow protection, 120V power, secure network access, cleaning cycles, an electric IV pole supporting four 3,000 cc bags, and a smoke evacuator at no additional cost.
