Description
The Defense Health Agency is conducting market research for instrument sterilization services supporting Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a solicitation or request for quotes. Interested organizations must provide organizational information, ownership and business-size information, and a tailored capability statement addressing the requirement, with supporting documentation for organizational and staff capabilities. Any anticipated subcontracting or teaming arrangements must also be described. The contractor would provide personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to clean, lubricate as needed, package, sterilize, and assemble instruments in customer-provided clean shipping containers. Specific instruments must be individually clear-wrapped and packaged for opening at the point of use, and instrument sharpening must be provided as needed. The contractor must be accredited by The Joint Commission and follow CDC and ANSI/AAMI ST79 sterilization guidelines. The notice states that the provider must be located within 30 miles of Fort Drum.
