Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is requesting quotations for four boxes of sterile, nonabsorbable polypropylene surgical sutures, size 4-0, blue, 18 inches long, single-armed, with a 3/8-circle reverse-cutting needle. The solicitation identifies Prolene, Surgilene, or Surgipro equivalents and requires the quoter to specify the source and part number supplied. Alternate offers must include a complete data package for evaluation. The sutures are regulated Class II medical devices and must meet applicable FDA requirements. Packaging must use sealed unit containers and suitable commercial exterior shipping containers; marking and labeling must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1 and applicable DLA packaging requirements. The items have a 60-month, non-extendable shelf-life requirement and must be delivered FOB destination within five days after award to specified military destinations in Mississippi.
